dye-ing to be young

well this past thursday the yarners fianally got all of us together to dye! fun times!
there is Catherine and Alexis hand -painting their yarn. Amanda was nice enough to bring all of her wonderful colors of dye -- lots to choose from! Ariel was there too, but i dont have any pictures of her or her yarn. Maybe if we are lucky we will dye with frequency!
ok, so i have no idea how to get all these picts to look the way i want, so they are going to stay that way for now b/c i have no patience to figure this sh*t out right now.
anyhow, dye-ing was fun and hopefully next time i'll have some wool picked out to dye. this time i had cotten and it came out ok... it was pastel which was to be expected.

tonight (friday) i saw Cold Mountain for the first time, pretty damn good movie. i love Nicole Kidman. one of my favourite actresses of all time. on a side note, the reason i stayed in on a fri and watched a movie was because i was wallowing. i just got dumped. yeah. so one night of moping and then i'll be done with it. tomorrow is a new day. at least i'll be getting to the gym more frequently. though i do so hate dating and am not looking forward to it. first dates can be so painful sometimes. oy. ok thats enough of that!
